Do as the Romans do.... So Ami couldn't resist getting behind the bar with Guisseppe to use the large pepper grinder at PonteSisto Restaurant in Rome.
On our first full day in Rome--we toured the vatican museum's, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. The art was amazing, but the sistine chapel was very crowded and you could not take pictures. We enjoyed learning about it--but looking at it gave us a kink in the neck.
Our next tour was the ancient Rome tour. The Colleseum was awesome, but we learned alot more at Palentine Hill and the Forum---Lot's of History Here--we are ready to go home and watch Ben Hur.
This is the view from the restaurant at The Rome Hilton--It was a little outside of town--which meant we had to take a cab everywhere, but the view and the hotel were worth it.
