Upon our arrival home--I had some good news waiting for me in the mail: I have once again been accepted to Arizona State to pursue my graduate degree in Aging and Lifespan Development. It is a Master of Science degree and will allow me to put those nice MS letters after my name. Things have changed in the past 13 years since I first was admitted and I have no idea what to do--so I'll start with a meeting with my advisor and the welcome orientation in August. The college of Human Services is housed at the West Campus--which is the bad news--since I live right next to the East Campus-but most of the program is online or evenings-so I can go from work and it will not be so bad. I don't know what I've gotten myself into--but this was always one of my goals and at least I'm admitted and taking the first steps.
