Across the World!

Well we arrived in Tel Aviv after our 10 hour flight from Newark---That was the longest flight I have ever been on and it was better than I expected. I did wish we had packed toothbrushes in our carry-on bags, that and the food were the worst part. We enjoyed NYC, even though it rained and we didn't get to see fireworks but we participated in some other American Traditions such as bar hopping. Our favorite was a local Irish Pub called The Pig & Whistle. Today, is our first full day in Tel Aviv--I wanted to run on the beach and that was no problem-since I woke up wide awake at 5am--don't know if that is jet lag or my body used to waking up early on Mondays to teach aerobics. I finally got Ami up at about 6:30am and we headed down to the beach and did a 2.5mile run and then worked out at the "Tel Aviv Venice Beach" Basically some funny looking exercise equipment and a bunch of old guys in speedos working out--the highlight of the trip by far. Today we need to go to the Dept. of the Interior because both Kfir and Ami were highly questioned at the airport regarding the status of their Israeli Passports--both are expired and they didn't even bring them--Then Kfir was directed to speak with the Army--I guess he is AWOL. They both have dual citizenship and are not in compliance with the Israeli protocol. Here is some pics of the trip so far.
