FOOTBALL: It is very scary being a Sun Devil Football Fan. Every once in a while when all the planets are in alignment, when all energy of the cosmos are aimed at Tempe, when there are enough birthday wishes made in the name of Sun Devil Football--a special season presents itself. The Sun Devils are 7-0, 1 of only 6 undefeated teams in Div. 1 football, ranked 8 in the BCS. We remember a season 11 years ago, when every game gave us butterflies in our tummies, when every win almost gave us a heart attack, when we shut out Nebraska and fought for the National Championship. I'm not saying that this is one of those seasons--time will tell. We need to beat some nationally ranked teams and kick the crap out of USC and U of A. But for the next two weeks all Sun Devil Fans can wear a smile on their face and hold their heads up high.
