For us, really cheap, as we stayed two nights at the Arizona Grand Resort curtesy of Insight. Ami had a work event there this weekend and so it was the perfect for Chloe's first night away from home and a nice get-a-way for us as well. The Arizona Grand Resort is the old Pointe South Mountain--which leads me to another thought--Why all the name changes--when you say "We went to the Arizona Grand" people say "Where is that" and then you say "Oh you know--the Pointe South Mountain--they just changed the name" Same with Squaw Peak--does anyone say "We hiked Piestawa Peak this past weekend--probably not" Anyways we had a great time of dinners and lounging by the pool.Sunday, July 19, 2009
Our Staycation.
One of the advantages of living in AZ in the summer is the
