So what did you do on your summer vacay?

What do you do on your summer vacation (aka Maternity Leave) with an infant in 110 degree heat? While our friends are out and about traveling in Europe or at least to San Diego--we are catching up on some of our favorite shows.

Weeds: If you don't have Showtime, maybe you don't know about this show-but you should. We don't have Showtime either but heard that this is a show you have to watch and have been renting the seasons from our handy Blockbuster Online membership. For a 30 minute sitcom (if that even is what it is) it is great--Kevin Nealon might be one of the best parts of the show, but the rest of the cast deserves credit as well. For those of you who don't know--it is about a widowed mother of 2 boys who resorts to selling pot in her upper class suburban neighborhood to make ends meet--needless to say there are alot of conflicts that arise. Check it out--it is a must see show.

Big Love: This show is on HBO--which we do get, but have had the episodes from the last season DVR'd for several months. Who knew a show about Polygamy could be so interesting. Sometimes this show annoys Ami --as he put it--"sometimes its just a whole hour of women arguing" But it is really more than that and you really do start to like the characters. And an added bonus--the daughter on the show wants to go to ASU--just the kind of publicity ASU needs
