My brother Bryan and his girlfriend Casey came out for a visit this past weekend--It was a action packed weekend and left me exhausted. No late nights out at the clubs--but full days and in the sun--we were wiped out. First we had breakfast at the Morning Glory Cafe at the Farm at South Mountain. We have always wanted to go there and I'm so glad we did. The food was awesome and the atmosphere was amazing. Definately a great Phoenix treasure. I think these chickens just laid the eggs we ate.
I know this is a rooster and that he didn't lay the eggs--but there were chickens too.

They put these crazy sweaters on the trees. I guess they get cold too.

Then it was a day of watching college basketball--I'm not sure when ASU became a basketball school--but we are this year and we watched ASU beat 7th ranked UCLA in overtime. Go Devils!! Then dinner at another outdoor Arizona eatery--House of Tricks in Tempe. Where else can you eat outside for breakfast and dinner in the middle of January--I love it here.
Sunday was full of marathon and cardinals action--see below blog entry--then Monday, Ami had to go back to work, but we enjoyed a nice brunch with our dad at Mimi's Cafe and then headed to the Desert Bontanical Garden to see the Chihuly glass exhibit--It was awesome--I want to go back at night to see everything lit up.
