The annual holiday card was tough to get out this year. But I'm happy to report that they are all in the mail. If you don't get one--don't get all offended--I either don't have your address, don't like you, or it just got lost in the mail. But you can enjoy it here on our wonderful blog. This year was tough to narrow down the pictures, so I've included some here that didn't make the cut.
Telluride: Our 2008 telluride trip was the largest ever, we almost had a full bus load of just our friends and friends of friends. We had a great time, as the snow was perfect. However that made for a horrible trip home--we had to take a detour due to the pass being closed. It took twice as long as normal (we didn't get home until about 6am) and one of the many buses that traveled in the caravan was involved in a fatal roll-over accident. Luckily no-one we knew personally, but still our fellow ski and snowboard lovers. Our hearts go out to their families during this holiday season. This year for the first time since Ami and I met--we are not going to Telluride --yes I am starting to cry. We just didn't have much vacation time, I can't ski this year, and we are donating our trip money to the baby fund.
Jerusalem: We really wanted to include this picture of us and the friendly camel that we found in Jerusalem. It was one of my goals to ride a camel in the middle east-but when we found it-I was wearing a skirt and their was a creepy man leading the camel, and yada, yada, yada we took this picture.
Halloween: This year for Halloween we decided to dress up as Las Vegas Smut Peddlers. You know those guys (and there is always at least one woman) passing out smut on the strip. We even collected some authentic smut cards while we were in Vegas in August and decided to go to Mill and hand them out to the Halloweeners. I think people thought we were the real thing--Hilarious--Just not appropriate for our holiday card.
Sun Devil Games: We also had a record year of attending ASU games--We traveled to LA, Berkely, and Seattle for games (and I threw up in each city--what a way to leave my mark). Our tailgates proved to be the best ever with several appearances from our "crew" featured on Sun Devil Rewind and enjoyed our new season ticket seats. The team proved less than stellar--losing to UNLV which started a 6 game losing streak--we lost to the University of Northern Mexico (AKA U of A) and failed to be bowl eligible--But we'll be back next year with a new sun devil fan in tow--
We wish all of you a very wonderful Christmas, Hanukkah, and a fabulous 2009! We enjoy sharing our life with you and have enjoyed hearing about your on-goings throughout the year. Keep in Touch--stay cool--Don't change and we'll see you Next Year!
