We decided to spend Christmas in Southern California visiting Kelly's Grandma so we left a little early and hung out in LA. Kelly had heard about the Getty Center and that it was amazing-so we decided to see for ourselves. And it was. First of all the grounds were amazing. We parked in the parking lot and then took a tram up the hill where you could see for miles--snow capped mountains on one side and the ocean on the other.
Kelly's favorite part of the museum was here. The pictures are a little blurry because you couldn't use a flash, but these rooms were amazing. It felt as if you were swept back in time to 18th century france living as a queen. It was amazing.
Ami enjoyed the sculptures the most. And we both enjoyed looking at some famous works of art by Van Gogh and Monet.
