Believe it or not we have more going on in our lives than ASU football. Even though it has dominated 10 of our weekends this fall including Thanksgiving Day. We have had alot of other stuff going on.
*Kelly recently started a new job. She has left the retirement community business for now and is working as a Wellness Coordinator with United Healthcare. She will be coordinating the on-site wellness programs for two large organizations here in Phoenix: Shamrock Foods and Mesa Public Schools.
*Ami joined his companies Flag Football Team for the 2nd year in a row. Even though he missed more than half of the games (which is probably why his team came in practically last place), he had fun running around and making fun of his co-workers.
*We bought bikes. We've only ridden them once together, but as soon as we buy some bike locks-we want to ride down to Joe's Farm Grill for lunch.
*Kelly raised over $500 for The Pat Tillman Foundation as part of her training for her second Marathon that she will run on January 13, 2008. Even though she swore she would never do it again. I guess over time you only remember the good things not the bad.
*Our friends Caryn & Rob got engaged. We were starting to suffer wedding withdrawls. Thanks Caryn & Rob for giving us the fix.
*We have started cooking our own food. It all started as an effort to spend a little more time at home and save some money but we really like turning on some music, opening up a bottle of wine, and then fighting about how long to cook things. Most things have turned out pretty good--except for maybe one overcooked steak, a tough crock pot roast, and some rice that..well we don't quite know what happened to it, but something went wrong. We even bought one of those food vacumn sealers and we love it.
