After gaining 51 pounds being pregnant with Chloe, I'm happy to say I'm down 34 pounds and have 17 more to lose. My workout routine consists of trying to wake up at 5:30am to go running before Ami leaves for work and before it is too freaking hot out. At 6 in the morning, it is in the 80's which is actually quite nice. Its pretty funny because in a few months--85 degrees will be too hot to run in and I'll welcome the 65 degree running temps. I don't always make it as Chloe wakes up anywhere from 4:30-6:30 and wants to eat. I haven't been able to do any long runs and this morning I only had time for my quick 1.7 mile loop which takes me about 20 minutes -hopefully I'll be able to get some longer runs in as my goal is to run the Las Vegas Rock and Roll Marathon in December and I need to start my official training ASAP. I may opt for the half, but we'll see. I am also doing yoga again and am trying to get to my favorite studio, Inner Vision, at least once a week and I actually have been doing yoga at home to Fit TV's Namaste Yoga TV Show and my wonderful Shiva Rea CD.
We are also enjoying our Wii--and I do the Wii Fit pretty often. It is really fun and I've learned how to pair the exercises to actually give me a pretty good work out--We also got the Wii Sports Resort and recently had Bryar and Greg over for some dinner and game night fun. We enjoyed sword fighting, canoeing, archery, and wake boarding.
