After traveling in Europe last summer, Ami and I have been wanting an espresso machine so that we could make it at home. Ami devised a great plan and a few weeks ago we actually purchased one. Ami had been hoarding Starbucks Gift Cards that he gets at work and after he had about 50 --$5 gift cards--we took them into the Starbucks (where the baristas instantly hated us) and purchased one. Above is my first attempt at a hot Cappuccino--with foam and everything. I have no idea why the picture is sideways--but I couldn't flip it for some reason. It is much harder than I thought to make one and so far it takes me about 15 minutes to make just one. But it is well worth the wait.
