Raindrops are fallin' on my head.

We are traveling to 4 away Sun Devil Football Games this year (all but one)--We haven't won a game since the beginning of September and this trip to the Pacific Northwest to see the Devils take on the Huskies of Washington happened the first weeked of November. We thought it was a great opportunity to take a long weekend and get to visit Bryan--who knew Bryan wouldn't be there and who knew I'd be pregnant.

The trip started with our drive to Anacortes to board the ferry to Victoria, British Columbia. We took our car on the ferry and yes it was non-stop rain the entire time--here was our view from the ferry as we cruised among the San Juan Islands. We had hoped to at least see some Killer Whales (The Shamu Ones), but all we saw was rain.

Once in Victoria, we stayed at an awesome hotel, the Empress, right on the water--I guess the great rate we got was due to the off season as it continued to rain. But we got some use out of our ski jackets and umbrellas and met this nice Canadian Bear.

Due to the rain, we went to the museum there, it was a British Columbia history museum. Very interesting! We ran into a wholly mammoth. And a funny sheep.I'm not sure of the historical significance of this dude> maybe he came for the gold rush?

And the Totem Poles were amazing.
We also took some time to dress up in the royal army's world war II helmets.

After the museum, it started to get dark - it was only like 4pm--and Victoria turned into a sleepy little town. But we took some time to walk around the Parliment Building, which was beautifully lit up at night.

We were only in Victoria for one night--but that is long enough to know that we want to go back (maybe during a less rainy time)--It was so funny as a newspaper was delivered to our door and it contained a tourism brochure to guess where? Yes, Sunny Arizona--Go figure, most people are trying to come here, and we go somewhere rainy for a change. We took the ferry back to Seattle and totally blanked that we may need our passports--It is no problem to leave the Country, but coming back is a little harder, but eventually they let us in.

We met up with some more friends--Owen and Nicole in Seattle, where we attended the Seattle Underground Tour--which was really awesome and I highly recommend it to any
one going to Seattle. The fall colors were awesome.

Game Time---We got to meet the Sun Devil Mustache Nation and we actually won a game. That makes it alot funny to then sit on the other schools mascot.

The day after the game, we took in the view of the Seattle Skyline, saw some funny goats that someone had in their yard, and took in some famous Seattle sights.
