If you thought we would stay home and relax and catch up on all the TV we missed while we were in Europe--you are mistaken. The past few weeks have been full of adventure including 2 things we never thought we'd do.
Camping & Skydiving.....Yes, I said skydiving (ok--it was indoor sky diving)
First the skydiving part. It has been our friend Kathleen's birthday wish for a few years now to go skydiving--Ami and I always said-"have fun, see ya when you get back" so this year when her husband Dan arranged a surprise indoor skydiving birthday-how could we refuse. So we traveled down to Eloy, AZ (yes we didn't know that was a town in AZ either) for a fun filled adventure.

This is the building that the indoor skydiving adventure took place in--Yes my
first fear was that we would shoot out of the top of it.
The group--John, Erin, Kathleen, Dan, Kelly, Ami, Laura & Eric.
Ami's "Jump"
Thank goodness for the instructors
Now to the camping. We joined seasoned campers Owen & Nicole, and new camp-addicts Laura & Eric at the Aspen Campground in the Tonto National Forest. Our main reason for the trip was to go to Camp Tontozona and see the Sun Devils play there last scrimmage at Camp T. Ami and I earned the putting up a tent badge, Laura earned the catch a fish badge, and Ami and Eric earned the hunting badge. It was quite an adventure, however we'll have to give camping another go, because the non-stop downpour that occured Saturday night kinda gave us a bad first impression. Besides being cold, wet, and miserable-IT WAS FUN=)!
Go Devils!
The Boys at Camp T.
