No-we didn't win the Pig in the Poke contest--but Ami and I are headed across the pond this summer. We are getting really excited and even though we have had the counter up for a while --with one month to go the countdown has really begun.
We are lucky that we booked our tickets so long ago-because we are grandfathered in as far as the recent luggage requirements go. However, we are still going to try to pack light as we will be traveling to several desinations and have to tote our luggage around. Here's our trip.
Our first stop is NYC, where we will spend 4th of July
From there we head to Israel where we will spend 8 days with Ami's Family. I think the highlights will be touring Jerusalem and the Tel Aviv Beach.
Then Ami and I head out on our own to Rome, where our Italy tour begins--we will also be visiting Firenze and Milano--Yes I'm practicing my Italian.
From Milan, we are taking an overnight train to Barcelona-where we will spend 3 more days before we head back to Phoenix.
Oh my gosh--I'm exhausted already.
